Luxe Coastal Property Buyers Expats on the Sunshine Coast Drinks, Chris Zegers, Life Insurance Specialist, joins the team, SJP WeekWatch, Tim Lawless interview, Property Update and more.

It was a busy week for THE EXPATRIATE (TE). Expat Mortgage Specialist Adam Kingston was in Hong Kong and Singapore, helping the TE community with face-to-face meetings. In Australia, on the Sunshine Coast (SSC) in Queensland, Luxe Coastal Property Buyers Director Christine Mount hosted an Expats ladies-only drinks night, which I was lucky enough to be invited to; now also, purchasing on the Sunshine Coast, connecting with the friendly, positive like-minded community was an absolute blast! The SSC community is as welcoming as everyone says, with expats from across Australia choosing to make the SSC their forever home. We all can’t wait for the Christmas Party!

Staying on the Sunshine Coast, Christine also hosted an interview with probably the most trusted voice in the real estate industry: the data guru, head of research at CoreLogic Asia/Pacific, Tim Lawless, an SSC local. Christine and Tim unpack the Prestige Property Market and discuss why the SSC ticks many boxes to meet this criteria. To listen to the podcast, click the link below, why he chose to live on the SSC, and his local tips on where to eat, enjoy a sunset and even go fishing. It’s a lovely, feel-good listen with one of the most respected voices in the industry.

We’d also like to introduce you to Chris Zegers, a Senior Financial Adviser and Director at Keystone Wealth, and yes, also based in Australia on the SSC. Chris is a risk protection specialist who assists clients in protecting their assets, income, family, and lifestyle. He is also highly skilled in business succession planning and critical person risk management. Chris has a diploma in financial planning and is accredited by SMSF. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and will complete his Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning in 2025.

As our expat life insurance specialist, Chris joined the TE team and wrote a fantastic information blog about Australian Life Insurance for Expats.
